from far away

something made me smile today
hehe.
i received a postcard from someone.
it came from mongolia.
it's been a while
a long while but seeing that scribble, that handwriting
put a little smile on my face.
brings back memories of long ago.
like the history questions he wrote down on the PRSS foolscape paper for me.
like the dozen of letters i threw away in a moment of anger & foolishness.

just a few lines but its the thought that counts.
i didnt expect that i will get a postcard.
its going up on the wall right next to my bed.
as a testimony that our friendship survived
despite all those silly matters
(:

goodbye or see you,
I'll be your best kept secret or your biggest mistake.
