the missing pieces

somehow i feel like something is missing from my life
i feel lonely, after everyone has gone to sleep
after im all alone.
or maybe its just the pms talking.
perhaps i have too much going on my mind.
worries & fears,
be gone!

today i went to erabelle for my eyebrow touch up.
it was a lil hard to get use to that pricky feeling but thank goodness it was over quickly
i had a change of artist this time and she did not 'draw' my brows as dark as the previous girl who did for me. hence i felt comfortable enough (not like LA PI XIAO XIN) to go shopping at zara thereafter and was so tempted to get that blue peep toes heels ($89.90 only is a steal for zara heels!) if not for the fact that i just parted with $600 for additional 3 more touch ups. :(
sigh. so broke now. $200 per touchup is like $100 for one eyebrow. i think this ouch is louder than the physical ouch during the process. hahah.
it is the price of vanity & confidence. it's tough being a woman.
but at the same time, i feel like this whole eyebrow thingy is one of the best things that happened to me because i finally have eyebrows in photos!!!
just a little concerned that it will fade quicker this time since she did not make it very dark.
and 1 side is a lil sleeker than the other :( but sister & bf says not obvious.
maybe its just me! hahah...

now i have a string of things i want... i really need to prioritise. haha. i am even thinking of giving up the LV bag purchase from HK. imagine with the money for that bag i can buy the (aldo heels + zara heels) x 2!
you do the maths.
im also putting on hold the purchase of makeup so that i can go to dfs to buy them for cheaper.

speaking of HK, that reminds me to blog about my trip to malaysia over Chinese New Year.
Indeed, time passes like damn fast.
its already friday tomorrow. This year, CNY was no different from the rest except for the fact that it was my 1st time helping out at my parents' stall till wee hours,
together with dear howie. :)
Reunion dinner was excellent too, and isaac was such a joy on cny eve.
then first day of cny, my sis, mum and i, together with my aunt's family drove to malaysia
not much jam.
went to catch Valentine's Day (sucks for being so boring & doesnt teach you anything except maybe to marry/date your best friend of the opposite sex) as well as Little Big Soldier (was okay, quite funny at times. didnt know that Wang Lee Hom can act as well)
then dinner was at this restaurant. chilli crabs + nice veggie.
although everyone else seemed to complain the standard dropped.

2nd day, we had niang tou foo from the street stalls. very nice. love the malaysian mee hoon, cause its softer.
then drove 3 hrs to malacca, had a yummy home cooked lunch at my uncle's friend's house. checked in hotel & then rest.
drove to my 二姨's house. the road there is very narrow. only meant for 1 car at a time. on each side of this road is paddy field.
there was this time, our 2 cars drove in, met another 2 cars which were on the way out. gosh
we had to reverse into other people's house driveway to let them pass since they didnt want to let us pass. imagine if this had happened at night or happened when the 2 cars going in different directions meet in the middle of the entire long road, i think it will be damn leceh plus dangerous to reverse! haha... my sis's driving skills improved plus she now misses driving at 160km/hr.
im glad that i did not have to drive. else we might take 12 hours to reach malacca.
dinner at 二姨's house - the chilli fish can only be described in one word - HOT!
followed by malay tutu kuey. damn big & nice. each piece is the size of my palm.

3rd day, we drove back to Kulai after dim sum at malacca (standard dropped as they expanded)
and before leaving, we also pluck veggies and fruits from my 二姨's field! the vegetables leaves are huge!
at Kulai, we had home grown kampung chicken & steamboat again.
basically the whole trip was alot of eating & driving. amidst all the closeness there were of course some conflicts here & there but it was a good trip with my aunt's family.
sometimes i wonder how many more times can/will we travel together to malaysia
with my mum, aunt & relatives growing older, myself & my cousins growing up & apart,
every year could be the last time we will actually still bother to visit them in malaysia.
its just like how my brother after marriage, has his own family and doesnt join us anymore.
infact i can hardly remember the last time my brother went to malaysia with us.
i suppose it could be in 2002 or something when my grandma passed on.

it has been a great trip nonetheless. too bad it all flew by and now we are back to singapore.
starting work next week.
a pack of nerves.

goodbye or see you,
I'll be your best kept secret or your biggest mistake.
