why does january always feel so.... alive

so i haven been the most active blogger around.
most probably too lazy nua-ing to want to blog.
and life's been busy, with the countdown to christmas 2008 and then new year 2009..
movie watching - twilight, the oh-i-also-want-to-be-loved-by-vampire movie- but i haven got started on the books

FYP - was such a headache, but hopefully things are going to ease into place, now all we need is some moolah and support for our events (so if u are a poly/tertiary student reading this, please join our VIDEO competition to commemorate international women's day 09, and to everyone else, pls support our 4.3km fun run/walk at bedok reservoir park on 1st march 09!! TIA! :D)

and of course OGD sales, we have so much clothes its starting to be like a warehouse.
and my own wardrobe is bursting too. but its just too difficult to say goodbye to my clothes + shoes... i got my suede boots already, my oxfords,too.. so the past year has been really great in terms of my fashion acquisitions hahaha... this year, its gonna be a zara pair of smoking hot heels :P and just less than 1 month into 2009, i have like 3 pairs of new shoes. some are unworn (ie, the suede boots) cuz they arrived so late that holidays left me, and i patched with school. haha sounds like a relationship!

and also my clothes, there are some unworn ones, some i managed to wear them once during the holidays and then got rid of them yay! i think i have this bad habit with clothes, that i only like to wear them once or twice... then i dont like the idea of wearing them again cuz i feel like people will remember i wore that before (yeah as if they really notice!). plus if i wear it too often, even if it was once the loveliest, most gorgeous dress or top, i will start to look at it and go 'hmm its not really that nice now'... i bet this scenario happens with most girls!! haha.. but luckily that is not the case for my shoes, cuz i hardly get tired of wearing the same pair most of the times (in fact thats what i do, wear 20% of them for 90% of the time, so the other 80% of my shoes get only 10% wear).. but still, shoes can be kept and they dont really follow a trend or something (unless u are talking specific like gladiators) so u can always whip them out again to wear:P

ah, thats why i love shoes. i was just counting that day, the number of HEELS i have, it was a number close to 20 i think. and got some i missed out counting oops! i din count my sandals, slippers and other types of shoes.. haha but u get the idea. heels are my true love! oops

so yeah, this sums up my ranting 1st entry of 2009.
though the new year eve wasnt so pleasant with a tiff between us, but i think that so far it has still been a great and smooth introduction to this new year. all i need to do now is to find a job with big moolah cuz the newspaper reports are forever so depressing reporting about the lack of jobs, and the 66million (in india/somewhere big) graduates that are jobless...in the bleak economy i think we should all count our blessings and let the past serves as a reminder and not a hinderance to our future. what goes down must come up... i hope that i will be able to stop procrastinating (as much), as well as to stop dwelling on the past, being too nostalgic, and blah... whats past is past. we should all embrace change, especially if its all for good and better things to come!

my last semester as a student, i might as well enjoy it. decided to take events mgt instead of advanced IMC tho i really wnted to take the latter. cuz i just dont think i can cope or have the willingness and mental ability to take on such a tough, and heavy module. and since my last sem's results have jolly well pulled me out from the sec upper honors (unless i have a miracle FYP grade, which i am not going to believe in), then i might as well just do a seemingly easier module with no individual presentations and major project. just that the exam is freaking 60% weightage! usually its just 30% for my course! oh yea and no sec upper means no tattoo! maybe its meant to be la. oh well. let me cruise through this sem, get a job, buy my zara shoes and save up for my chanel bag!! (a LV noe first... chanel is like, if i strike 4D, which is unlikely since i dont buy 4D!)

enough ranting. will try to blog more often! :D so that people wont complain its stagnant here. later get fined for breeding mosquitoes how.... (wah, damn lame) HAHA

shoes, yum.

shoes again. the lace up shoelaces are so freaking hot! love the black one! but the white one is quite cool too

studded tank from f21. usd19.80, a lil too ex for me, it could have been better value for money if it was a studded dress? but then again, tanks and studs go together.

prettty!! from supre, but costs like $80 or something?! not worth the price.

And here's OGD's collection 22:
http://community.livejournal.com/ourgorgeousdays/12452.htm
lace skirts, lace tops, toga, zipper tops, military dresses!!
all of the latest trends!

goodbye or see you,
I'll be your best kept secret or your biggest mistake.
