yesterday

my last day at img
we had boon tong kee for my farewell dinner
a long, slow day of doing nothing
and then a mad rush to pack my stuff and ensure everything i need to take home was in my bag somewhere.. (but i still left behind a file. haha)
the time to write my farewell emails came
and i started feeling emo
sad and scared

even though the decision has been a right one
but i couldnt help flashback the memories since day 1
when i was there in the studio not knowing what was going on or who everyone was
and i dread to feel the same awkwardness and cluelessness in my next job, whenever that will come by
i wasnt that close to many of them for the 1st two months
maintaining much to myself
going home as and when i can escape
then came june, july
the crazy busy months
i got to know many of them much better as we slogged and strived hard together
it does feel weird to be here on a thursday morning typing on my laptop instead of being in office, amidst the mad rush and the now quieter creative team
the atmosphere is just so different now
plus we are almost going to be like swamped by foreigners as they start recruiting the indonesians and philippinos and whats not
i am going to miss my AE team
despite everything, they were the ones who brought much laughter and relief during the office hours
i guess i have always been a nostalgic person, not liking departures
give me few more days to adjust to this new-found freedom and slack
i will probably be okay
and can start to figure out my plans for the future
i swing from anticipation to uncertainty and back to excitement and then fear
it certainly isnt easy, growing up
how many people can say for sure, this is what i want to do, i am certain
how many people can honestly say, i love my job, be it the job scope or the env
im glad, just a teeny weeny bit, when i see that i am sometimes not the only one who plucked up the courage to leave and be clueless for a while

yesterday

our second time at canopy bar
its at bishan park......
a very nice place to chill, with soothing and relaxing music
the lights and the garden setting is perfect for dates
lots of people yesterday, surprisingly for a wednesday night
had baileys this time round.. decided that cocktails are not for me, they turn out weird...
sadly our little date din start or end well
we had our first fight? quarrel? heated argument?
i know i am not the most patient gf
but i already tried my best
i feel like a fool not knowing what you are thinking or feeling
frustrating, tiring
i raised my voice, im sorry
hope that the next time we go there, maybe for brunch,
it will be a very pleasant time
promise me, just tell me what is on your mind
dont leave me guessing

im afraid,
love isnt easy
differences in thinking, in character, in personality, are bound to happen
can we accept them?
can the good outweigh the bad?
how much can we take the bad before we decide it is enough?
i cant change myself to be someone i am not
but i can try to change in other ways that might help to tame the problem or difference
you gotta tell me and you gotta trust me
walk beside me.
not behind me.

goodbye or see you,
I'll be your best kept secret or your biggest mistake.
