a random set

actually, humans are conditioned to be the way we are now
just like how sometimes people say love is like a habit..
if that is so, i guess we can always re-condition ourselves to accept certain scenarios that dont fit with our current mindsets
maybe the world is such that, you can only live practically and not idealistically/romantically
you can have all the romantic love, but if there is no bread on the table, then what is love?
of course there are those people who find both romantic love together with gold on the table, but not everyone can be that lucky.
i guess we all should condition ourselves to accept what we have and not compare with others
because comparison is endless
is that resignation of fate, or just striving to be contented in life?
its open-ended

what your eye doesn't see, your heart doesn't desire. noel said this today and i thought it makes alot of sense. imagine if all we see in the world is toyota cars and we dont ever set sight on merz or Ferrari, then we would have conditioned ourselves to believe and think that having a toyota is sufficient. but because we know there are other beauties out there, we lust after the others. many times looking back there are many things i could have not bought, but lust caused me to think that i must have this item. but after i own it, somehow, it seems that i will have other things on my to-buy list. sometimes, maybe its true - what u dont own, you cherish/appreciate its beauty more so than what you own, because you tend to take them for granted. same goes for relationships i guess. but there's always 2 sides to a coin.

goodbye or see you,
I'll be your best kept secret or your biggest mistake.
