the weekend, marriage and holidays.

i finally stepped into the new ikea at tampines. i love it.
and i love the fact its so near my house. no more queenstown.
its huge. and the restaurant there is damn spacious.
i would return there just for a meal.
with Giant, and Courts just beside ikea, the whole area is just like a airport. very big.

i bought a new set of quilt cover. think its the one caddie has too.. the heart shapes one. at $19 only.. a water jug at $1.50! and a very lovely b & w photo montage (consist of 4 photos) for $25.. the biggest one is of Eiffel tower. i havent took photos of it, but hope to show u guys. they ran out of the black photoframes, so i cldnt buy it. i only bought the for the 2 small photos.. 1 frame at $3 only. but need to drill holes on my wall.. i really love the posters there.. i wld hang many such photos/paintings at my own house.

i caught "Ghost Riders" and the guy who played Nicholas Cage's character when he was young is damn gd-looking. haha. but the show kinda not what i expected. its nice in the effects and cool stunts, but plot-wise its very normal. although i thought the ending is quite 'smart' as in logical smart, not a twist, unexpected kind. but Cage is very fit in the show. quite impressed with his acting. wanna watch "Paris Je T'aime" leh..

also, i kinda managed to complete my 202 assignment. cuz the theme was love, i had to look for such photos. i saw alot of very sweet photos of couples. some really show their affection for each other just through their gazes. others show old couples holding hands and lying on the beach tog. then the wedding aisle photos.. then the bride photos.. suddenly i had an urge to get married. just so i can wear the lovely white dress and have everyone's eyes on me. haha. it also hit me that love is a very amazing thing. it is so universal. and i always wonder why is it that someone can matter to u so much that u would feel sad just at the thought of not seeing them anymore, while others, u hardly bother about even tho they also claim they love you. also, people like to glamorize sex, but i think its just a very deep way of showing ur love and affection for each other. after all, its supposed to be a procreation method. dont know how it could spur the porn industry to do so well.

and its ridiculous bcuz today, mr. b's mother smsed him to read this particular article in Straits Times and "spend some time to ponder about a taboo subject". i was very curious and went to fetch the paper. apparently its about safe sex and abstinence. i dont need that reminder auntie. i'm not that foolish. being a mother at such a young age is not v fun as i witnessed my 17? 18? year old cousin pacifying her baby during CNY. i used to think 21 would be a safe age if i ever need to give my virginity away. (that was when i was 16?) but now i realise how wrong i was. (maybe because i dont feel much different from 16 and also because i realise even at 21, it is too heavy a responsibility to carry). so before 21, i already decide that abstinence before marriage is the best option. my friends' experiences only further reaffirm my belief.

this holidays seem too short. got many things to do, and many places i wan to go, and many people i wish i had time to spend with.. hmm.. and some things i dont know how to say. i know i ought to say. but i cant bring myself to. dont know whether its wise to bring it up anot. maybe circumstances would render this dilemma to cease to exist.

we shall see.

Signing off,
no more ink.
