蔡依林 - 我知道你很難過

couldnt resist watching this again.
although this is such an old song, but it is still classic.

back then, mtvs were much simpler, and the storyline wasnt so ambiguous as it is nowadays.
girl meets boy, fall in love... that's all.
now, sometimes after watching the mtv 3 times, i still dont know what the ending means...
so are they together or not? did the girl die? was she sick or she had a change of heart? etc

in this very old-school mtv, without much fanfare and digital effects,
i love the part at around 4:15 where they were both sitting in an empty classroomand waiting for something magical to happen... to officially change the status between them from just
"暗恋对方" to "一对"
the guy pinched her nose to distract herbefore finally planting a kiss on her lips...it is so cheeky and so very secondary school tactic. hahaha..
and of course, the whole mtv is about the adult Jolin going back to her school compounds and reminisce about her (probably) first love..from the way she is recalling the memories, it hints that they are no longer together (of course, first love is hardly meant to last) perhaps because i am also a very 念旧的人hence this mtv really warms my heart.

---Somewhere between our laughs, our long talks, our silly little fights, and all our jokes, I fell in love.
