csbs - bintan trip (8-10th May)

as promised, i will blog about our wonderful trip.
so here goes, a little post to help trigger my memories..
incase i suffer from Alzheimer one day or simply just affected by roland's fish memory.

our group photo at tanah merah ferry terminal. before setting off.

bought this hot pink googles and tried it on. i look like a fish. a bimbotic one.

here's roland trying out the slide. the swimming pool is just 3 minutes away from our villa.
so accessible. this was the 1st day i think.

the blue sky and clear water of bintan...

these photos very "sex & the city" right, hehe.. we are just missing one more member!

and when taking this photo, roland/mingkeat said "感情好好。。 一拍完照,就walk in different directions"... damn funny!!

and this is the most feet-boggling stuff that happened to a few of us (shall not name names huh.. hehe) during the trip... stepping on pieces of disgusting black tar on the beach... and then spending an hour scrubbing off the stains... till i suggested to them to use a toothbrush (:

here's me on the 2nd day waiting for everyone else to get ready.

then i saw doraemon on tv! haven watch the cartoon for ages.

then it was time for ATV!! woohoo, it was super fun.
although initially i didnt really thought it will be fun but i was proven wrong.
personally i prefer the car version cuz its much lower and when you drive through the muddy part i felt like i was in some survivor tv showcast.

we are also going to try the ATV in phuket in our upcoming trip.
looks even more muddy & exciting! need to prepare some dark clothing!

then during 2nd night dinner, i saw this board. Bad Day Banisher! hehe. so cute...
and the Pearley White Protector. such creatives mocktail names.

it was really a very memorable tuang trip. the service in bintan resort was good, the people were polite and mostly spoke english. the beach was good enough, the food a tad too expensive (the SGD25 1.5Litres coke bottle!!) but most of all the company was most enjoyable. the 2nd night while we talked for a couple of hours in sj and my bedroom, really brought me back to the days back in hall when we would just slack in roland/mk's room... gossiping, sharing secrets and laughing at each other's antics. (:

even though at times i was a little spaced out, but it was a rejuvenating trip. now i cant wait for the next tuang. really thanks to roland and mk who planned almost everything. i only went for the trip and did nothing at all.. oops! hehehe...

one last photo to say it all.

i hope this friendship will always remain... even though it may be hard to get everyone.

goodbye or see you,
I'll be your best kept secret or your biggest mistake.
