a little swoshed

just came back from EFTC's chinese new year dinner
had 2 glasses of white wine and 1 glass of red wine and 1 sprite
perhaps i started on empty stomach so im feeling a little spaced out but its all fine
the people are really having crazy fun
dancing like mad, drinking nonstop, talking/singing in squeaky voices after sucking in the helium from balloons
its great to see all of them let loose before i officially start.
there are too many faces & names to remember though.
my boss lynda is really nice too. she kept asking if i was ok, whether i was bored.
the regional talent director jolyne was very friendly and i just felt like i was part of a huge ass advertising family.
it all seemed too surreal, that i am going to be part of this place, part of this industry.
i feel sometimes out of place, like as if i was a village girl stepping foot into new york for the first time. maybe just like how a brooklyn girl would feel on the upper east side (as if in Gossip Girl)
so surreal, im glad i have till 22nd to catch up with reality.

today's happenings at work and my observations of people around me just reinforced the notion that it was not the right place for me to grow professionally.
im glad to be able to move on. and i really hope that EFTC will be a place for me to stay long at.
its going to be chinese new year once again.
im going to hk in less than 1 month, so excited.
this time round, its only going to be the two of us and maybe because howie has not been to HK, i feel so adult like to plan for this trip and feel responsible that we dont get lost, that we know where and what to go & do, and have a fun trip.
i feel im roaming on a foreign land by myself! haha :)

time for bed. early night today, as i have a long day tomorrow.
my last day at turbo as well.
still pondering if i should cut my fringe.

goodbye or see you,
I'll be your best kept secret or your biggest mistake.
