we don't always realize what we have till they are gone

i think its human nature to take for granted things and people
we are always on this path to conquest more, and more
and we often think that what we have are not enough, not good enough
like our looks, our family, our friends, our lovers, our materialistic gains
we want more more more
and sometimes we compare ourselves to others and that heightens our insecurities
and deepens our longing for things or wants we never thought could surface.
little things like having an intact (no doubt not always happy, without quarrels) family, having a best friend who will listen to u 24/7, having a bf who will help u unpick stuck tissues from the luggage's roller wheels without any grudge, having money to eat and shop, having a tomorrow of peace in your country, having television in your house even if your favorite show has ended its run, having a still functioning laptop of almost 4 yrs, having a to-be-degree despite the looming economic crisis..

its another 3 weeks to the end of this year. meaning it adds a weight of another year to things of the past, like eg; in 3 more weeks it will be - darling and i got together 'last year', i was at design bridge 'last year', i celebrated xmas at home 'last year' etc.. it just sounds more weighty right, like a longer period of time has passed. the most weird feeling that i have regarding the switching of a year to the next is when its just the 1st few days of the new year.. i will have trouble writing the proper year (ie. last time in secondary when we need to write dates on homewk), and i also feel strange saying things that happened 'last year' when technically it could be just yesterday or the day before. haha.

this OGD collection is not doing very well, and i dont think it has to do with recession cuz other shops still seem to be doing quite well leh. well i guess i have to admit they started almost 1-3 years ago and thus to compare our 4 months long biz with theirs is a little too ambitious but i dont think i have time and energy to concentrate as much on OGD once i graduate.. sigh i just dont understand... our prices are so much lower compared to theirs and we also sell the same things sometimes so its just sad that people are not buying from us. but its defintely true that they have become so big or they are rich enough to afford to engage studio services, model services and have a DSLR to take the most amazing photos not to mention the photoshop skills. i am definitely envious but sometimes its also true that i get abit tired from selling clothes online... it doesnt really give as much hmmm... what you call that, excitment?? from doing it now as compared to last time.. maybe cuz we are just small players in this big fish pond. yet the amt of work is alot, and time-consuming. online selling isnt as profitable as it seems. cuz there is this 'online must be cheap' mindset, which i admit i have too. hahah.. and nowdays the prices can be as long as 18-24 for a dress. gone are the days when i shopped online for 28 buckeroos a dress, and that is not even satin material. nowadays u sell satin dress for 15, people still want to negotiate. definitely mileage is very important. if u have alot of fringe items, or not so interesting pieces in your wardrobe, you probably cannot sell them for $5 even if you want to. CNY is coming so its time to declutter my wardrobe, i probably will sell my stuff real cheap or just get rid of those million of hall/school tees. keep a few for memory's sake haha. plus some are designed by my dearest oh.

enough grumbling. lets just .hope the next one which we have more designs, will appeal to people. i am so excited about the 3/4 sleeved lace dress with a organza puffy skirt. let's look at some f21 stuff.. hehe

this tiered dress is super cute.

and these babies finally restocked and will be mine!! the same pair retails at Zara for almost 200 bucks.

lace heels from CL??!! must cost 1k and above.. so pretty. probably 5 inches!

goodbye or see you,

I'll be your best kept secret or your biggest mistake.
