its such a rainy day.

its pouring again. on and off, the rain has come.
hopefully, it can wash away all the ill-feelings, all the bad blood, all the grudges and help people to forgive. its human to err, they say. you should forgive yourself, as long as it doesnt repeat again, they say too. i dont know if i am believing it or not. when others have not forgiven, it seems complacent and abit too hard to forgive yourself.

how about the saying that "if he (or she) loves you, he will do anything for you."? can love really be measured that way? the things that one does for another can show how much he loves her?that if one person loves you, he will do things you ask for unconditionally, with not too many questions asked? i always thought it was abit silly to think it that way. because afterall, one should not use love to blackmail the other person. it's akin to how a guy would force a girl to sleep with him so that she can prove that she really loves him. but i guess, sometimes, when one is feeling insecure, one can resort to this without realising it, without meaning to use it as a tactic, but still, it has become a weapon unknowingly.

imagine there are 1000 things to be done. if that one thing that one person refuses you becomes the proving point that he doesnt love you enough, what about the remaining 999 things he has done for you? i think as humans, whether its in friendship, love or kinship, we ought to keep in mind, not just the times when others 'fail' or reject us (bearing grudges is no good though), but more importantly, the other times when they have done good to us. those times are the real indicators of their love.

so, i guess in 2007, one of my new year resolutions would be to 'bathe' those around me in good light, and remind myself more often of their angelic side, more so than their devilish manners.

i am so looking forward to 2007 already, but hmm, i realise my age is no more 1(no.), and now a whole new decade of 2(1, 2, 3...9) sob... no more 20! haha.. then again, i am excited cuz by the nx bday i would be able to watch the R(A) movies, esp the french ones.. they always have interesting things. hehe.

Signing off,
no more ink.
