had a good day. i just reached home. and i really understood the term "killer heels". yes, after standing and walking around in my pair of maybe 2 inches +/- heels, i felt so weird yet happy when i removed my shoes and finally stepped on ground. it feels like its been a million years since my bare soles are in contact with the ground. Flat. not elevated. feel v numb and painful now. sigh... no choice.. cuz of the orchard hotel ERAS conference. its also a easy and slack job. but at first v worried that i may not noe how to deal with the IT stuff. lucky no problems cropped up yet. phew.. some presentations are pretty interesting too. but cuz the room very packed so most of the time had to stand and listen, open the door and close it for people to enter or leave, and delete soft copies of presenters' files. thats abt all. and still had great free hotel food.. 2 teas and one lunch.. sashimi, pasta, bread & butter pudding, prawns, my fav har gow, and stil got siew mai.. theirs was v nice.. eat till full.. haha.. but asked us to reach at 730.. when we actually start work only like 11am.. tml also v few presentations scheduled. duno if they will let us go home early. hope so!! then after that i met baby.. feels like its been very long since we got tog. esp since the last 2 sats i was not able to go out w him. nvm. this sat shall make up for it! haha. and finally bought the things i wanna get for so long.. my foundation and concealer so i can avoid being mistaken for a endangered panda and risk getting captured back into the zoos of china. haha. i had to put up very strong determination not to buy the blusher and lip gloss. Yet. haha. wait till next time. see, i got patience. yeah right. err.. and oh also the flower clip that i have been looking for so long. haha.. but so sad my hair is not long enuff to use it yet. (so i told the salesgirl that.. but i went to buy some drink sit down and in the end went back and she told me some1 just bought the last piece, so i tot "okay.. its fated that i cant buy".. then she suddenly asked her colleagues and turned out stil got another new one.. so i still ended up buying it first.. then can use at home vain yi xia. haha.) its those that u can clip behind ur ear like on the beach.. its very nice lah.. i have always seen it in magazines and wanted to get it. haha.. and baby and i ate pasta mania. not bad.. its very happy day cuz i got to c him.. today feels quite like the old times.. and all my troubles seemed to have floated out temporarily.. and somemore rachel informed me that my pay will be $7/hr instead of $6.50.. i was shocked.. but who will mind, right? haha.. more $$, the better. so alot of gd stuff today.. :) oh and very happy thing happened.. sweet-talk the shop sells bubbletea ma.. den i went to buy since yest the Q at Eunos very long.. then i decided to risk and try peppermint milk tea.. my fav.. and it turned out the color was like milk tea.. not green like other shops.. so i was prepared it will be very "nan her". i take one sip. wow. i was impressed. i finally found back the same peppermint taste that was lost after Happy Cup "dao bi". yeah so happy. somemore $1.20 only. i will go buy it more often. somemore now Eunos mrt also got the shop. haha. reminds me of my secondary school days.. always buy from Happy Cup.. then Huiling will drink her usual choco ice blended.. then we 2 and ruying will shoot pearls at each other w the straw. i rmb got once i eat the pearl le den shoot it out. then stuck on ruying's shirt or somewher lah. then she scold me gross. haha. jasmine also very li hai shooter. all these like very long ago.. haha.. oh my.. at this pt of time, i am very shocked.. cuz errr.. J just MSN me.. yest he sms me.. today msn me.. then he told me "yest that sms was not send for fun one u know".. and "was nv meant for a reply like "C B A D" (cuz he sent me some xin li che yan so i tot i shd just reply the answer ma).. er.. i cant believe he is talking to me rite now.. did he come talk to me cuz of my email? i...am lost.. for words.. feeling quite happy.. yet disbelief.. cuz i nv expected err sth like this will occur.. err.. i.. dunno whats going to happen.. but i guess i wont be sleeping early tonite le.. haven even bath.. but i wanna talk to him.. cuz its like a dream.. maybe it is.. haha.. but let me finish the dream... a gd fren coming back into my life.. i cannot just wake up like that without any answers.. i guess this is another good thing of today.. 29/5/2006.. what a good and lucky day!
