Your priorities in love changes as you age.

today i had a thought; i feel that in many cases, relationships at this age usually dun last because one party mite go thru certain experiences that make her change her mindset. then she mite realize that 'eh, tis guy isnt what i really want aft all'. perhaps at tis young age, what we look for is more superficial, we dun thk so deeply into what we really want b4 we get into a r/s, maybe we just want to love & be loved. as long as there is feelings. u may look for a guy who is cute, smart, popular, sporty etc. but this criteria will certainly change when u rch ur early 20s. u will then look for stability in a guy and commitment. hence, tis may be why many young couples who married early end up in divorce? bcuz they had a change in thinking, what they chose isnt really what they want. in a way, it makes me feel that i rather not get involved in love right now, in case that guy is a good person but its just at the wrong time [cuz we r too young and sometimes irrational] then i would have lost him forever. i rather wait for someone who is more stable and reliable because i noe thats what i want, but thats also not what many guys can give at 18.

anyway, enuff of my love theory, i achieved some solid studying wif huiyi at mac today. starte from 10am to abt 530pm. Did my econs h/w and also read up my module, pretty satisfying after i managed to grasp the concepts. =p hmm, there was tis couple beside us, the girl was way domineering while the guy was so 'henpecked'. for instance, he even asked for permission to go toilet to wash his face. and another instance, huiyi saw him being slapped by the girl! goodness! i duno if i shd say the girl is too much, or the guy is simply a fool in love. its a cliché that love is blind, but i beg to differ. love is probably also dumb, and numb. haha!

valentine day is in a week, i mite juz stay at home to study, since i m w/o a bf, w/o a date, and w/o any interest in seeing lovey-dovey couples holding a bouquet of 999 roses in their arms. lolx... the atmosphere mite get too sick for my stomach. [just kidding!] well, i am not saying V's day will be a lonely day for me. in fact, i feel rather relieved as i am free and single. bcuz that means not having to waste my ang pow $ on presents. that also means no need to quarrel with anyone over 'y-u-went-out-wif-2-guy-friends-instead-of-me-despite-e-fact-tt-we-agreed-not-to-celebrate-v's day'. [no offence meant, my brain juz drifted to the memories 1 yr ago] haha.. kinda amusing.

shant blabber anymore.
