Maybe its true that sometimes when you love someone, its not a must to be together with them because happiness is when you witness their smiles and know that they can be happy without you.

At this very instant, i can almost feel his happiness.

i suddenly got this thought that once crossed my mind before; that is if he is happy/happier the way he is now without me, then letting him go will be most worthwhile. maybe all along i have been too selfish in my pursue, and never wondered if he would b happy with me. i hope that i will be able to think this way that as long as he is happy, then i will be happy too. sacrificial love on my part? i think he gave more than i did.

seeing his smile, his laughter, his happy mood all shows on his face. these are things i have not seen for a very long time. i used to see this every day, as we were in the same school, but not anymore. i miss the laughter i hear from him, the smiles that will light up his face, and just his presence. as a friend. really. [well, of cuz also as another figure, but tts not possible anymore]

thats because a friend is what he will be. only. or should i say, a friend is what i will be; to him.
