Alone in a faraway land...

back from changi airport. just sent off my cousin to australia for his uni studies. he's really brillant, a malaysian. we spent 2 hrs or less with him and his family in terminal 2. it was rather a bitter sweet goodbye. we waved goodbye non-stop, till the policemen behind the immigration were so amused. the airport was filled with lots of young ppl today, all sending someone off. i really admire his courage to board the plane to brisbane all by himself. he did not go to check out the sch/environment and off he is, now 1 hr into the plane ride. he must be feeling lonely, nervous and excited all at the same time. if it was me, i will surely cry as i cannot bear the separation from my family and friends. my uncle asked me if i will b joining his son in australia next yr. i smiled and said tt it wld be bad news if i go overseas for uni, meaning i got sucky A' lvl results and cant enter Sg uni. haha!

tho' i wld love to go for a overseas education, i know i really dun haf the courage. somemore i am afraid tt if i go, sth mite happen to my family/friends when i am not here with them, esp my parents. so i doubt i am that brave to go to a foreign land all by myself. i am someone who dont adore changes.

well, i pray for his well-being over there, and hope that God will bless him. hope that his 2 yrs of education there will pass smoothly and not be discriminated or bullied. its gonna be sometime b4 i will see him. if things r ok, perhaps next yr after my A's, i will b in australia too! fholiday cum visiting him... cross my fingers for a chance to go there!

this coming weekend is my grandmother's 3rd yr death anniversary. whew... its so fast, 3 yrs? it certainly doesnt seem so to me. i feel as if she is still with us, just that she's physically elsewhere. hmm, i wont be gg back mysia for tis event. but i have 'bai tuo' my mum to ask grandmother to give me her blessings for my studies tis yr. =) hope she is happy in heaven.

ta-ta... just had to blog tis despite the fact tt i have to hand up rossetti tml... gtg!
P.S: btw, tis yr we have 29 feb! on this special leap-day, i will b gg sentosa... 'amazing race'! fun fun fun.. wanna get more sun!
